Ontario’s leading physician mentioned he can choose motion if it appears community actions in Haldimand-Norfolk are not enough to secure citizens from COVID-19 beneath the region’s freshly appointed interim medical officer of health and fitness.
Dr. Kieran Moore was requested to remark Tuesday on the appointment of Dr. Matt Strauss, whose opposition to COVID-19 lockdowns has stirred controversy and prompted the Ontario Liberals to contact for the province to veto his selection.
Moore repeated that the Haldimand-Norfolk Board of Health did not require his approval or that of the Ministry of Wellbeing in get to employ the service of Strauss for an interim posture.
